Hello Parents,
Below is the information sent to us from Getty’s middle regarding tickets and procedures for our game on Monday night.
Parking

- Visiting teams will park in the bus loop. To reach the bus loop turn onto Wyatt (You will see Patterson’s Tax Service as a landmark) and travel to the end of the road. Turn right and you will see the bus loop entrance.

- All fans should park in the lower football parking lot outside of Brice Field. To reach the parking lot fans will turn into the school from highway 8/South Pendleton St. at the entrance below the stadium. Fans will then walk up to the gym following posted signs.

- For those fans that have not visited Gettys Middle before our address is 510 S. Pendleton St.

Tickets

- Tickets will be sold through the Gettys website at: http://gms.pickens.k12.sc.us/athletics/buy_tickets_online

- There are 40 tickets available for the 7th grade game and 40 available for the 8th Game for our visitors. No tickets will be sold at the gate.

- The cost of tickets is $6.50. This cost includes the fee for purchasing tickets and the processing fee. Tickets sold for volleyball will be sold for the 7th grade game and the 8th grade game. To attend both events spectators will purchase tickets for both games. Once purchased tickets are non-refundable.

Gym Entrance/Exit and Seating

- All fans will be required to wear facemasks while in attendance.

- We will provide an identified entrance and exit for our events. Please ask your fans to follow the posted signage for entrance and exit locations. We will have spaces marked 6ft apart for our fans as they wait to enter the gym for volleyball. Please ask fans to stand on the blue tape that will mark spaces to stand while waiting to enter the gym.

- Once in the gym our visitor will sit in the last section of bleachers closet to the stairs and scoreboard. They will have the upper and lower bleachers in that area to sit. Signs will be posted for visitor seating.

- Ask your fans to look for the yellow tape and sit where the yellow take is places. Smaller tape strips can accommodate one or two fans and lager strips can accommodate families.

- After the contest fans are expected to exit the gym. If athletes are going home with their parents they can be picked up at the top of our car rider line. This will prevent grouping of crowds after the game. Have families decide how they will receive their student after the game and plan accordingly.

- At no time are fans allowed on the gym floor. The exception is the line judge.

- We will begin playing at 5:30. The 7th grade team will be the first match. At the conclusion of 7th grade we will clear the gym, sanitize and reopen for the 8th grade match at 6:45pm if capacity allows. Spectators for 8th the 8th grade game will be allowed to wait outside of our cafeteria for the 8th grade game or they will find seating in student desks inside the cafeteria. Once the gym is cleaned and sanitized we will open for 8th grade spectators.
